Fleming Bros. Lawn Service was started in April 1989 by two brothers: Mike and Kevin Fleming. They started with one mower and one electric trimmer. Kevin left soon after to pursue a different career. John Fleming, another brother, joined Mike in 1992 while going to school to become a teacher. After John graduated, he left to teach in another state and Mike became the sole owner.
Over the years many family members have worked for the company; including nieces, nephews, and the owners own children. Today Mike's son-in-law Bryan is the Senior Crew Supervisor,his wife Carol is the Operations Manager, his nephews Kameron and Zac, and son Sawyer are Supervisors.
